Study Abroad Blog

During the spring semester of 2024, I had the opportunity to spend the semester at Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While there, I served as a Global Correspondent for the Darla Moore School of Business by writing a regular blog about my experiences.

Background

My semester in Argentina was one of the most formative experiences of my life. While there, I improved my Spanish, made friends with locals, traveled around the country, and immersed myself in the local culture. I studied Spanish, digital marketing, web design, Argentine history and culture, and fundamentals of leadership at UTdT, but I learned just as much outside the classroom as I did within it.

By serving as a Global Correspondent, I not only strengthened my writing and communication skills, but I also served as an ambassador for the study abroad program. I was able to give an unfiltered look at the reality of studying abroad, thus encouraging other students to take the plunge as well. In fact, my blog was later cited by multiple students as a factor in their decision to study in South America the way I did.
